BIDV Diamond Tower

When we go around the cities of Seoul, Tokyo and Hong Kong, a number of buildings show their attractive features and tell their own stories through the Façade, Material or Mass. The contractor, BIDV is the 2nd bank of Vietnam and is proceeding with the joint venture in collaboration with a Singapore real-estate development investor. The contractor demanded a specific office design to express building's own concept, profitability and competitiveness. The Building site is located at the entrance of Pham Hung street with the width of 50m connected to Noibai airport through straight line road. The Surrounding areas of Pham Hung street which are likely to be developed already proceeded with several ongoing projects so we can imagine a Teheran road of Seoul or Shinjuku of Tokyo in the near future.

BIDV Diamond Tower needed the deployment of each different story planning stage and had to contain it clearly within limited range. We considered the independence through moving line of cars and zoning of vertical moving line and obtained the changeableness along rent type of rent floor. We designed the outer wall to feel the depth of visual re-interpretation motivating the image of glass and diamond and interest as well.
